Update #3: We made it!
Thanks to you, we've achieved the goal of raising $2,500 to help Arms and Sleepers keep making music! This money will come in at a time when we need it the most---paying for previous debts but also funding future endeavours. To be honest, we were unsure whether we'd be able to raise this much money. Not that we doubted our fans, but times are tough for everyone and certainly our cause is not the most pressing issue in the world. We wanted to experiment with this and see if alternative ways of surviving from music are actually possible in today's utterly confusing and highly unfair music business. Thanks to you, we are reassured that some people do still care about independent, underground music, and are passionate enough about it to financially support small artists like us. Thank you so much for pledging to Arms and Sleepers through Kickstarter---we can't express enough just how grateful we are for your continued enthusiasm and willingness to help whenever help is needed. For those that pledged, we'll send you a private update with the shipment info and also a breakdown of where your money is going. We want to make sure that you're informed about how we deal with the $2,500 + raised.
For the folks that pledged money for orders involving vinyl, there will be an additional shipping cost. Unfortunately the charges for shipping vinyl (particularly for international orders) are so high that we are forced to do this. If you should have a problem with this, we'll work it out one way or another, so don't worry!
Finally, there are still 10 days left until our project is officially over, and any additional money we can raise beyond $2,500 will help us out even more. So, if you haven't contributed yet, feel free to do so now until Feb. 15! Plenty of items are still available, from $1 to $200. Signed CDs, vinyl, and songs written just for you are all still out there, so pledge away if you like our music and want to contribute to the cause!

Update #2: Thank you and happy holidays!
Just a quick note to thank everyone that has contributed to Arms and Sleepers thus far---we're 2/3 of the way to our goal and 50 days still left to go! We're currently getting ready for our 3rd European tour, packing carefully and trying not to forget anything. We rehearsed for 6 days straight, and have come up with what we think is our best live set yet. It took a while to get all the parts down and to adjust to performing with live vocals, but it's all been working out great so we're excited to finally get going on the road!
Please continue to spread the word about our pledge campaign---now more then ever is the time to support independent music, and we ask for your help in supporting Arms and Sleepers. We are utterly grateful to all of you that have contributed so far---without you we couldn't do this.

Arms and Sleepers is Max Lewis (Boston, MA) and Mirza Ramic (Portland, ME). The band was formed in 2006 and has since released a handful of albums and EPs. Arms and Sleepers have extensively toured North America, Europe, and the UK. Upcoming releases include “Matador” (2nd full-length) and “From The Inland Sea” (split with The American Dollar).
