What is the series about?

Zeroes is a 10 episode (30 minute an episode) web series inspired by the British award winning show MISFITS. Our initial plan was to create a spinoff version of Misfits set in the same universe and taking place in the U.S. where the same freak storm that gave them powers would give our group powers though because of copyright laws we had to create something original and just as awesome. Zeroes follows a group of six troubled young adults who are given the option to either repeat the last year of high school, or go into a school program where they will have to help at a local park and be able to graduate in time. Meanwhile in space, a secret space station in which scientists have been conducting secret experiments is destroyed, and pieces of the station which are contaminated by some kind of bacteria begin to fall all over the planet. While working at the park our group stumbles upon one of the space station pieces, and are soon contaminated and develop super powers. Though they aren't your normal superheroes, since they are more interested in having fun, partying and just enjoying life. Some also use their powers to get a head in life. It will be a dark, exciting show, with plenty of racy American humor you will not want to miss this. Our main characters are:

• Nick: is something of a man-whore wanting to sleep with any girl that he sees. It’s very common for people to not like him since he can sometimes be obnoxious. He has a somewhat blunt and crude personality. Loves to talk, can never shut up. He is very proactive.

• Cassandra: is a vain, shallow, self centered, honest girl who is obsessed with popularity and fame. She loves attention and demands the attention of others. She loves to flirt no matter who it is, and loves it when people talk about her good or bad. She dislikes when people lie to her reason why she is always honest. She will open up completely for the right person.

• Rachel: is very secretive, tends to always have a smile on her face, and is a very mischievous girl so don’t let her innocent face fool you. She is tricky, smart and very crafty when it comes to getting out of trouble. She has self destructive tendencies and is a hopeless romantic who is just after love.

• Monica: is a mythomaniac. She is very friendly, opinionated, brave and very creative. A brilliant writer who loves to make up stories within different genres and often dreams about her stories. She is loving, very affectionate and loyal towards those she cares about. She’s a thrill seeker never scared to do things that others are. She says what’s on her mind at any given time.

• Tyler: is cunning, secretive, mysterious and good at hiding his true feelings and intentions. He is very charismatic but its not that easy to get close to him and have him open up. When it comes to his love life he doesn’t care which gender he sleeps with its all the same in his mind. 

• Jeffrey: Is a genius, a bit of a geek, he is kind, selfless and very generous likes to help out anyone in need. He can sometimes be a little too weird for a lot of people’s tastes. He is one of the friendliest people anyone will ever meet. He likes to ramble about the most pointless obscure things.

How Kickstarter works?

Kickstarter is a crowd funding website for artist looking to fund their creative projects. You guys pledge as much as you want by choosing the reward you would like if by the end of our campaign we have raised our goal of $50,000 then you will be charged and we will get our funding to make our series. But if we don't raise our goal by the time our campaign ends no one will be charged a penny and sadly no rewards will be given and we wont be able to make our series. Though if we were to receive even more than $50,000 it will go towards making the series even better, we will also add more episodes, and make it  longer in length, depending on how much more we get.

Where the money goes?

All of the funding we receive will go towards production insurance, location permits, actor/crew salaries, legal paperwork, equiptment, props, costumes, makeup, post production, distribution, and shipping all the great rewards.

How will you get my phone number, t-shirt size, address, etc?

We will send you a Kickstarter message requesting all of the necessary information like your email address, your home address that way we can ship you your rewards, also t-shirt size, Skype chat username, phone number etc.

Once the series is funded when will it be released?

We plan to start filming in late July once we have received the funding and plan to have the first season finished by at least late January 2013 though we will try our hardest to have it out for you guys as soon as possible.
