Update 3/26 - Thank you to everyone who has backed us so far!  We have a long way to go to reach our goal of $45,000 but we are thankful for every dollar we have received so far.  Your contributions inspire and encourage us everyday and are a testament to our mission and that people want to be connected, to be united, to be a community. 

At this point we are looking at a late-April / early May private launch, but to get beyond that and truly be able to capture what we envision is possible with OurPangea, it is critical that we hit our goal on Kickstarter.  We hope you'll continue to believe in OurPangea's mission and please continue to spread the word about OurPangea and get involved in your local communities!

In efforts to explore the potential of a united world, two cousins from Chicago need your help building OurPangea.com. This collaborative social network will combine the proven tools of social media with emerging interest-based networking theories. Our mission is simple: erect a global community through an interactive and engaging online network for us to discover the potential of our united world.

OurPangea will show us that as individuals we can make an impact, but as a collective our potential is limitless.

OurPangea will forge the realization that our communities are defined by the unique contributions of each individual. We believe cultivating this bottom up perspective will enhance the way we interact with both our online and offline worlds. OurPangea is designed to help people from all cultures express their passions, discover like-minded people to collaborate with, and create positive impact for their entire communities.

Growing up with the internet has made us imagine a better way to interact more naturally online. We are translating this ambition into something to improve the way we share ideas and cooperate. A place where our interests bring us together to create more natural, meaningful connections. Now we're determined to create OurPangea.

Unfortunately, this cannot be accomplished without providing our users with the best experiences and tools. Developing such tools takes time and costs money.
