Here we are in September. Where did the time fly?
So, I'm hoping to have the plain text manuscript done by the end of the month (GENCON ate up more time and effort than I had planned for, of course), and then distribute it to all contributors as I work on the art and layout. Those with a predilection for hunting down typos, please do!

Thanks to you guys, this project is already a resounding success. I'm cracking on it, putting in 1,000 to 1,500 words a day, and I'm hoping to have the first text only copy done, front to back by the middle of May.
The art and layout take a bit longer, but those of you who have behind the scenes access will see my work in all three areas: Art, Writing, Layout in weekly updates every Sunday starting on May 6.
I'm going to be looking for volunteers to take an early proofreading look at the project at some time in the near future. More on this later.
Now, a question. Does anyone want to see a PDF of the raw text when I'm done with it, before it is laid out or illustrated? I don't mind sending such a thing out, and it might be a good way to catch proofreading/editorial errors. Thoughts?
And a final, heartfelt thank you to all you guys. You made this possible (hell, I almost didn't put the book up!) and I'm going to work hard to create a great book.
