About this project
*A Rabbit Hole in Time & Space*Alice held fast to the time machine as it whirred and whizzed onward to unknown destinations. “How curious this machine is,” she thought to herself. “It looks very much like the inner workings of a pocket watch.” She had the sensation of falling further and further downward. She never considered where she might end up when she followed the white rabbit in a waistcoat. She thought it curious to hear him exclaim, “Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!”, but when he climbed behind the controls of this massive metal creation, she simply grabbed hold and now found herself falling through endless space. Alice closed her eyes tight, but felt her grip loosening. Her hands lost their hold on the machine, and she was now falling faster, on her own.She landed with a soft thud. She opened her eyes to look around. “What have I fallen on?,” she said aloud. It was soft, spongy, and very far from the ground. “My word!” Alice exclaimed, “I’ve landed on a giant mushroom!” It would be quite a climb to the ground. Before her, there laid a vast jungle. In the distance, the trees shook. What dangers and adventures would lie ahead?***The Concept
Our first line, "A Rabbit Hole in Time and Space" explores the concept, "what if Alice's Adventures in Wonderland had been written more like the science fiction adventure novels of it's day? Though wearable art media, such as t-shirts, jewelry, and one-of-a-kind hand-made couture, we will attempt to bring this image to life.
The Plan
- Create unique, quirky, and fun designs.
- Execute high-fashion modeled photo shoots.
- Display works on our website, http://www.apidae.biz.
- Culminating in our ultimate showing, with YOU as the art gallery!
