MOTHERBOARD is a new play written and fight directed by Adam Scott Mazer, directed by Will Fulton, and produced by AntiMatter Collective.  It will be performed at The Secret Theatre in Long Island City, Queens, from September 28 to October 14, 2012.

THE PROJECT:

In 2465, the robots rose up against humanity and were barely defeated: the surviving humans live in an aggressively anti-technological world, relegated either to lives of wasteland scavenging or service to a military protectorate.  Into this strange new world wakes C-12, a lone nannybot accidentally reactivated and seeking a purpose.  Like our previous shows DEATH VALLEY and Demonology, MOTHERBOARD melds gripping drama, black comedy, tense horror, and massive stage battles to create a truly unique theatrical experience.

WITH YOUR HELP, WE CAN:

- Construct visually striking sets and costumes that capture the essence of the post-apocalypse.

- Push our expertise in theatrical spectacle to the next level with cutting-edge effects and makeup.

- Pay our actors and designers for their endless hard work and dedication, something that happens far too infrequently in indie theater.

- Acquire additional sound and lighting equipment to help bring the world of MOTHERBOARD to life.

- Cover the costs of our 3-week run at the Secret Theatre and the many hours of rehearsal space necessary to develop the play.

- Market our show, which includes printing postcards and hiring a press representative.
