The Sickness trailer has been shot. We couldn't have done it without your generosity.
What a story. We had a cast and crew ready to shoot this thing starting Saturday morning. By Friday evening, we still didn't have a camera. With a little tenacity and some decent contact, we secured insurance and a nice camera package at the very last minute. And then it was time to roll.
Liz got into makeup at 6am. I know because, believe it or not, I was up! This had to be the first time I've seen 6am in a long, long time.
I drove to set and met the crew. They lit the scenes while the actors were in makeup and, voila, we were ready to go. Saturday and Sunday were a blur, but I have the footage (and damn fine footage it is) to prove we were there.
Now it's time to edit this bad boy so I have something to send all of you. Keep checking the blog. I'll be sharing the whole story, beat by beat, along with pictures and maybe some footage too.

Thanks again everyone.

We shot a very successful make-up test at the office this Saturday.
Steve and Cris took approximately an hour and a half to make Liz's flesh look less than healthy. We broke for lunch, then spent the rest of the day pouring copious amounts of cherry flavored blood on just about everything we could find.
There are a few pictures on the blog. For those of you who are bad at bookmarking, here's the link again:

Very exciting stuff. Up next: Effects tests, and insurance forms. Which one do you think I'm more excited about? You might be surprised...
Oh man. What a rush. So many thanks to everyone that helped!
It was too much for this old guy. I swear, the second that clock finished its countdown, I caught me a cold. I was holding it at bay and when I saw that we made it, I just gave in. I'm finally up again and ready to make things happen.
For those of you who haven't seen your names on the world wide web, here's the link:

If you don't see your name there, or if you see any changes you'd like to have made, just let me know, and I'll remedy the situation asap.
What next? Well, we're knee deep in production meetings. Budget meetings. Make up tests. Auditions. Etc. And you'll all be kept abreast of things as they happen. Here, again, is the link to the blog:

All kinds of goodies soon to come.
Thanks everyone, for making this happen. Your generosity has warmed my heart. Stay tuned. Now comes the good part.
Much love,
Mark Alan Miller
Thanks so much to all our backers thus far.
The support has been unbelievable. We've made it onto Rue Morgue's page. Our little film has also been sponsored by Starz. And a friend just sent me a link to I09, where they did a nice little write up about us. Check it:
