Dear Lovely Kickstarters,
As many of you probably know, Anonymous Ensemble is currently reaching out to our friends and family for support for our next endeavor. We've already begun work on the project and it is going to be like nothing we or anyone else has ever experienced in a theater - but more on that later. First we want to share with you what your support for LIEBE LOVE AMOUR! has grown into in one short year.
Shortly after successfully making our Kickstarter goal (by just $1 in the home stretch!), we presented LIEBE LOVE AMOUR! at HERE Arts Center in Soho. The response was tremendous and lead to a slew of thrilling opportunities including: a fancy showcase at the New Ohio Theater in the West Village, a residency at Duke University where Tall Hilda seduced a bunch of basketball players, a residency at Wesleyan University where Hilda married hundreds of adoring audience members, and the New Orleans Fringe where Hilda paraded with a brass band and stormed the levy. Now we are working with our London producers on a UK tour next year. We also have a thrilling New York City prospect for LIEBE LOVE AMOUR! that we will hopefully be able to announce soon. None of this would have been possible without the love and support that we initially received from you, our Kickstarters.
Incubator Arts (an exciting East Village institution) came to our New Ohio showcase and wanted to know what we have up our sleeves next. Now we are taking Incubator Arts up on their offer and creating something new that expands on the many discoveries that we made during LIEBE LOVE AMOUR! about collaborating with an audience to make a unique experience together. Once again, we come to you in order to get a project off the ground so that it can take flight. Also, we are a little concerned about getting over the hump in terms of Kickstarter momentum so, if you do think you will support this project, we'd be eternally grateful if you could pledge sooner rather than later. Please visit our Eternal Hour Project page and see for yourselves what we have up our sleeves. Also, be sure to check out some of the video updates. They feature people who we have invited to our studio as test audience/participants and their words capture where the piece is heading.
