I have a B.A. in Film Analysis and Technique and am currently finishing my MFA in film production from Boston University. I have been working on film festivals in various capacities for over a decade and am currently a programmer for the Boston Underground Film Festival and for SFIndie. I am also the program coordinator in the Visual Media Arts department at Emerson, coordinating events and helping students get their work out into the world. I also work with the Creative Mind Group helping with sponsorship acquisition and advising students in the Cannes internship program. I also serve on the board of Press Pass TV.

Oh no! I work at a movie theater and they frown on us taking both Friday and Saturday night off in the same week. Unless Sion Sono is coming to town, I guess The Woman presents the more rare opportunity. Erm, if I can only get one of those nights off, are you able to tell me which one Lucky McKee will be at?

Thank you so much for bringing another Sion Sono film to Boston! I have to submit my March availability calendar at my job by early Sunday the latest. Is there any chance a schedule will be up by then? I would really hate to miss Cold Fish (or The Woman, for that matter) because I get scheduled to work.

It will not...I will definitely be donating $100, but I would like to aim for $500 with the help of a few friends so that I do not have to go alone and we can get a few shirts and goodies as well. We are all movie lovers. So, unfortunately I will not be pledging as of now, but you can absolutely except $100 or more from me before the 27 days are up.
The official word is that we don't know. Depends on the alcohol sponsor. Hopefully one event that may be 21+ won't keep you from donating.

Quick question, I am 18 and I am highly interested in pledging $100 for the festival pass and shirt....However, I came to the realization that being 18 may not be old enough due to alcoholic beverages. Is it still possible for me to attend? The lineup (especially Hobo With A Shotgun) is incredible, and I would love to come. Thanks!
