Kickstarter

I am a singer/songwriter and harpist living in the Seattle area.  Right now I’m in the middle of recording my first EP (a six-track album). Making this CD has been a goal of mine for a few years. Now that crowdfunding help is available, I think it's time to make this dream a reality!

I’ve selected a talented producer, picked my best songs, began the recording process, and set my sails for an early Summer release date.  What I need help with now is the funding!  Here’s a snapshot of the current budget:

Recording costs:

• RATE: $1000 production fee per song (paid to the producer/sound engineer; includes mastering). REMAINING: three songs.
• RATE: $300 per day at the studio. REMAINING: seven days (includes recording instruments and vocals, and mixing).
• RATE: Approx. $200 per song for string instrumentation.  REMAINING: four songs.

The project has brought some amazing highs...such as hearing my songs transform in the hands of the producer and spending all-day sessions at a remarkable studio.  I hope that you will want to be a “mini-producer” by contributing to the financial target.  I would be incredibly grateful for your support, and in return you will receive updates on the project, creative thank-you gifts, and my harp-based pop CD before the official release.

UPDATE: The target has been met, so anything extra will go towards promoting the new music.
