Update #9: Hey There! It's Been a While!
Two Jackets reporting here!
So it's been close to five months since we've been here to update you all on the current status of Limpwings, or more importantly, YOUR REWARDS! We can only hope that none of you thought we took your money and ran far, far away, never to be heard from again...
ALAS! We have returned to tell you that post production is moving along. Over the last few months, we've been cutting away at hours and hours of footage, slowly refining it all down to 90 minutes of solid gold entertainment! Currently, we are less than a week away from picture-lock on the film. What does that mean, you may ask? Well, it means we're close to having all the shots we want exactly where we want them to be.
Over the next month and a half, we'll be putting the film through the final gauntlet of post production. The Two Jackets team and other key collaborators will be color correcting, sound mixing, scoring, and creating a few visual effects, which together will push the film over the finish line. With our current schedule, we will be reaching that finish line on January 9th. This works in our favor, since our long-term goal has been to finish the film before January 12th: the final deadline of the local Fargo Film Festival, at which we would like to have our first public preview showing (this will not be the family/friends/cast/crew/backer screening, which will be held before then, currently TBA).
Now... About those REWARDS! Since most of the rewards require the film to be completed, we have decided to wait to post / send out all of the rewards until after the film completion date in January. Yes, this does mean you'll have to wait until late January / early February for your sweet, well-deserved rewards, but trust us: IT'LL BE WORTH IT! By then we'll also have all of our awesome promotional material put together, which we are currently working on along with the edit of the film.
We apologize for the very uncool wait that we have forced upon you, our generous backers and supporters! But the good news is that in about two months, you'll be able to see the awesome movie that you helped finish! And for that, we can't thank you enough!

Update #8: The Window Is Closed, Funding Successful!
Hello all,
Our Kickstarter window is now officially closed! Thank you to all of our backers for helping us EXCEED our $1,000 goal! You will be receiving emails from us shortly about obtaining your well-deserved rewards!
We would also like to take this moment to thank all of our other supporters! Whether it be our friends, family, cast, crew, acquaintances, supportive strangers, just anyone who supported us, thank you! You've helped guide us this far into our feature filmmaking adventure!
However, there's still a long road ahead for "Limpwings." This isn't the last time you'll be hearing from us here on Kickstarter. Oh no, sir (or madam)! We will be posting updates here (perhaps even some exclusive sneak peaks?!) over the next few months of post production! So keep checking back! Thanks again!

Andrew Neill is an award-winning filmmaker currently living in Moorhead, Minnesota. Andrew recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Minnesota State University in Moorhead with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies, emphasis in Film Production. Over the last four years, Andrew has directed short films that have screened at film festivals nationwide. He is also one-third of the Two Jackets Productions team. With Two Jackets, Andrew has co-produced a two season web series and is now directing his first feature film.
