Closed Beta Starts... Now!
Hello, comrades. This is an announcement for your eyeballs:
Ohnovahkiin's closed beta is now underway! This beta will not include any of the stretchgoals (except for the higher quality voice recordings) or pledge rewards (except for the Book of Pledges, which still needs a couple of entries--they'll be in the next beta).
It's purely to give everyone access to Anebriate, the follower (which is the whole point of this exercise!) He will follow you, fight for you, carry your things (and drop them), shout things about goats at random, and generally complain a lot. But he's yours to command (despite what he might say).
If your pledge amount was $75 or greater, I will be sending you a link to the download. Please refrain from immediately leaking this to the rest of the internet if you can help it. If your pledge amount was less than that, please kick back and wait for the open beta (it won't be too long).

99 Problems But a Pledge Ain't One
Who'd have thought a project with such humble origins would lend itself to unprecedented generosity?
Here we are at 347% of the projected goal--a goal, I might add, that we met within the first 24 hours--and Hootey and I are practically foaming at the mouth to deliver on our lofty promises.
Some of you are long-time followers and fans of Tales of the Drunken Paladin, others are Noble Vinesaucians eager to support a friend's dreams, others still are just random folks who happened to stumble across a link on Facebook or Kickstarter itself and thought it sounded cool--but no matter who you are or what your motivations, we offer our heartfelt thanks!
For those of you who have access to the forum (with a $25 or greater pledge), you will never be at a loss for information or updates on our progress. For those who may be wondering how to keep posted on the details of our escapades without access to the forum, the official Tales of the Drunken Paladin Facebook is a great place to start. I will also periodically send out important updates right here on Kickstarter.
