Wanted to get this out before the new wife and I take off to the Oregon coast tomorrow. This is a very rough cut featuring the members of 1st squad who filmed themselves before the battle and suffered 50% casualties within three weeks of the footage. As you can see we are editing. Right now we are adding subtitles to the Munoz Mexican footage as well as normalizing audio and sound. If you pay attention there is a big difference between the interviews in the US V.S. the Munoz footage in Mexico, there is a monster cricket to erase and a bit more. Most of the footage sounded like Mexico before Antonio fixed the sound so that cricket should die a quiet death by Antonio's more skilled editing magic. Antonio (Co-director) is coming up to Portland from Los Angeles so that we can put the final edit together. The story is all there, what we have left are the little things that will transform this film into a real movie, as mentioned before, audio and color correction as well as decisions to be made about titles. As you may know And Then They Came Home was able to reach our goal of thirty thousand dollars. We would like to thank all of our backers for making this possible and USA Cares for pushing us over the bar! 22 hours to go, this has been a group effort and community accomplishment, thank you!

      First, we'd like to thanks our backers for getting us to 50% of our budget goal. There are just five days left for this project's fundraiser, however Kickstarter campaigns are all or All-or-nothing funding.

      What this means is that every Kickstarter project must be fully funded before its time expires or no money changes hands.  Help us make this film possible by as little as bringing awareness to this project by simply sharing through various social network sites, email, etc.
