About this project
I’ve got this music. I need to record it. I’ve written it around the world for the last few years, and it is time to lay it down in a studio. I’ve been asked over and over when my next CD will come . . . I’m ready, and I ask for your help.
I write from the heart, and use the head to help. I see music as an avenue to make the world a better place, and touch the spirits of people with tone, harmony, melody and form as a channel for emotional communication. Music, to me, represents what is right with the world. There is something pure and spiritual about solo guitar, and I’ve devoted my life to this path. Now I need to capture it, on CD and vinyl LP, the music that has emerged from my maturation as a musician over decades. I want to share it with you . . . please watch the video and see if my music connects with you.
I want to put out this recording on vinyl LP as well as CD. I love vinyl, even though it much more expensive to make than CDs; vinyl adds another dimension to music, and I’m excited about adding some retro hipness and analog warmth to my project. Funds will go to pay for the recording studio, producer, engineer; editing, mixing and mastering; designing, creating and printing graphics and artwork for the covers; as well as manufacturing the CD and (of course) the vinyl LP. Any extra funding will be poured into the project to increase the quality at every stage.

I began playing guitar at six years old, taught by my father and uncle, guitarists both. I spent twenty years with the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, picking up a Grammy along the way, playing my compositions, classical masterworks and world music. My works for solo guitar are my first love, and are how I express the best of myself to the world.
