About this project

N&V has partnered with Kickstarter.com to give you the opportunity to be a part of our music. Your album pre-order will fund the release; the more you pledge, the more you get! For as little as $5 you gain access to exclusive audio, video, and photos! If you pledge a bit more, you get all kinds of cool stuff in return. Check out the pledge levels on the right and choose which level you'd like to be a part of!

let's do this!

Over the last year, many of you have asked us when we plan to release a new album. We’re always being asked when our next show will be or when a tune like “Remember Me” will be for sale on iTunes. We decided that it has been way too long since our last release and it's time to get back in the studio! So we’re calling on YOU to be a part of our next album.

Throughout the next few months we’re partnering with the website Kickstarter.com and with your help, will attempt to raise $5,000. Your support will enable us to record, master and release Nees and Vos’ next album with enough bread to do it right. We just need EVERYONE'S participation; otherwise the next album might not come out for a while.

So call it a fundraiser or call it a pre-sale. Either way we are inviting you to become a Micro-Producer on this, our second studio album. Just pledge the dollar value of your choosing towards our new album.

Why are we doing it this way?

Here are some of the reasons why we're approaching this album this way.

  • Studio Recording. While we made great albums either live or recorded in Andrew’s basement, we’re going into a full-fledged studio which can be costly.

  • Record Label? Record labels need many things. Ownership... Publishing... Creative direction... We prefer to keep as many things in our camp as possible.

  • You. Our fans have been essential to the success we've had so far. It only makes sense to involve you from the start!

  • Easy. A website like Kickstarter.com makes funding this project surprisingly easy and painless. You're only a few clicks away!

Rewards. For your awesomenessness..

So we’ve told you what we need. Here’s what you get. With every pledge there is a prize in return. This can range from signed advanced copies of the album to a song written just for you to a VIP party for you and your friends! There are different levels of pledges and many cool prizes. The more you pledge the more you get! The rewards get better and better, and for each one listed you'll get everything listed before it as well. Awesome right!?

Here’s the catch: our new album will only be funded if we meet our fundraising goal. If we don't hit our goal in the time allotted, no one is charged anything, no prizes go out, and we all move forward as if nothing happened. It's risky we know, but we think it's worth it. If we do raise the full $5,000 by June 15th, we start making the album, you’ll be charged your pledge amount and receive your prizes!

All payments are processed solely through Amazon.com, so your information is safe and protected.

So... You're the jam.

We believe in you! We wouldn’t have made it this far in our career without your help and now it’s time to take Nees and Vos to the next level. You can be our record label!

Whether you pledge for the prizes, because you’re a friend of ours, or for the good ol’ support of the arts, we do appreciate anything you can give.

Now let's make this music, together!

Glory, Chris and Andrew N&V
