About this project
We make 3d models out of old vinyl records. We have 20 designs, from Ants to Velociraptor to Pteranodon. We ship out a vinyl record, you get to pop out the pieces and assemble the model.
Our 'real goal' is $15k and will allow us to cut these at a much faster rate!
Playing around one day, we figured out we could laser-cut vinyl and make awesome stuff. (Cool, huh? But kinda dangerous. Don't do it unless you know what you're doing). We can make puzzles and real-life 3D models.
What would you build out of old 45's and 33's? We set out to make some mighty fine projects.
Here's the hard part though: We need your help. A laser cutter is some spendy voodoo magic that requires real-life capitalist dollars to acquire.
