Update #5: Funded!
We met our goal about a hour ago, with a little more than 12 hours to spare. Thanks so much to all our donors! This has been a huge day for us. It wouldn't be possible for us to make this film without all of your generous support.
We're still accepting donations for the next 11 hours. Our film is going to cost A LOT more than $20,000 to produce and just because we met our fundraising goal doesn't mean we don't need more help. Every dollar we raise from here on out has a direct impact on the production value of our film: it pays for more crew to be on set with us, helps us afford better, more versatile shooting locations and allows us to rent better equipment for the production.
Now is the perfect time for all our backers to ask their friends to support our project. Soon you'll all receive emails from Kickstarter asking for your contact info; we'll start mailing out rewards as soon as possible.

Donors of more than $10 will get an exclusive download links for all of our additional digital content, including behind-the-scenes production blogs, music videos and a live EP recorded by the bands featured in the film.

Donors of more than $25 will also receive a download link to a high-definition digital copy of the film after it premieres.

Donors of more than $50 will also receive a signed, limited edition DVD or Bluray of the film. It's your choice whether to get a DVD or a Bluray. If you want both, or if you want multiple copies, please add $10 per additional disc.

Donors of more than $100 will also receive a complimentary subscription to Filmmaker Magazine (your choice of print or digital access) and a bonus compilation DVD or Bluray of short films made by us and some of our peers. (For example, our web series "Ghost Stories," our early student shorts, award winning short films from some of our favorite artists). Please add $10 per additional disc.

Donors of more than $500 will also receive a "Thanks" in the credits of the film and an original copy of one of the early drafts of the script. We write all over these in red ink and highlighter; these are real artifacts of the creative process. We may come up with some other production paraphernalia to give away at this level too, so please ask.

Donors of more than $1,000 will also receive a "Special Thanks" in the credits of the film. If you're in the NY area, we'll invite you over to watch some of the movies that inspire us. If not, maybe we'll do it over iChat? We're pretty much open to negotiation at this level!

Donors of more than $5,000 will also receive an Executive Producer credit, and will be entitled to watch cuts with the filmmakers—either in person or online. We take this a commitment from you very seriously, and your voice will definitely be added to our film.

I'm a writer/director born in Philadelphia and a graduate of the Purchase College Film Conservatory. I recently completed Ghost Stories, a dramatic web series. In the real world I live in New York and work as a Story Assistant on MTV's Teen Mom.
