Update #2: 4 days to go!
Dear backers,
We now have 4 days left on our fund raising campaign and the good news is we are 86% funded!
However, we do need an additional $1,369 dollars in order to make the minimum $10,000 dollars. If we don't reach the minimum we receive no money at all.
So please ask your friends and family to donate by forwarding out link to them via email, facebook or twitter. And if you feel more generous increase your own donation if you can.
These 4 days are crucial so that we can cross that 10k minimum and hopefully go beyond it!

Brazilian native André Mello is a writer, producer director, actor and multi-media artist who began his career at the age of nineteen at Bloomberg Television in New York City while pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Film.
Since then, he has held several positions in the media field such as video editor, production coordinator and producer in the following areas: News, Video News Releases, Satellite Media Tours, Radio Media Tours, Corporate Videos, PSAs, Commercials, Documentaries, Music videos and Feature Films. He has worked with prestigious companies such as: AOL, Red Cross, UNICEF and Glaxo Smith Kline
In 2000, he produced the documentary "Live and let Ride", a look into the competitive world of girl skateboarding, which has been shown in numerous festivals around the world. In 2006, Mr. Mello was awarded the esteemed Telly Award for his production work.
Since moving to Los Angeles in the Fall of 2005, Mr. Mello has been focusing on his Film making career as a writer/director, producer and actor. In 2009, Mr. Mello co-created, produced, directed and starred in caRIOcas, the first Brazilian gay series ever made. He has also directed the first music video for Brazilian singer Silvia Machete, hailed by the critics as Brazil's next big star and produced and directed a trailer for the novel "Spin" by Robert Rave (St. Martins Press).
