Hello everyone, backers and curious passersby alike!

I just wanted to post an update to let you all know how the progress has been going. The fall/winter Pappy release produced some great material for the film, and in particular we just wrapped the "A-story" that is going to tie it all together. That will be the story of trying to find a specific bottle of Pappy in time for Christmas. I'm going to have a rough teaser cut of this segment to post here soon (though there is some debate about how much to give away :)

Now, the second part of the story is underway -- meeting several more people and conducting interviews, tastings, lifestyle shots, etc. This includes experts and just everyday fans -- and even people who don't understand the fans. 

So, that is my challenge to you guys -- if you can think of someone who would be a GREAT interview, let me know! I'll be traveling around quite a bit for the next few months, mostly throughout the midwest and south, and if you have any suggestions or volunteers to participate, drop me a line! 

I should mention that contacting me in no way guarantees that I'll be able to interview anyone, nor does an interview guarantee inclusion in the final cut of the film. But for now at least I'm interested in contacting anyone and everyone -- in particular, super fans with giant cabinets, tattoos, quirky habits or lifestyles, etc. Just let me know, and I'll try to make it happen.
