About this project
We're a band -- but a band without a CD to spread/give away/sell/throw like Frisbee.
That's where YOU come in. We're trying to press our newly recorded material onto an EP and get 1,000 copies made, and we need your help to raise the money to do so.
On the screen, to your right, are special rewards for specific donation amounts. We've compiled a list of things to give back to YOU-- if you choose to support us. Not only will you receive some goods in return, but you'll get to be a part of our first EP-- anyone who donates will be involved with voting on the name AND artwork!
So far, the songs on this EP have been totally recorded and produced by ourselves, with the help of our friend Andrew Miller. We don't have a label, a booking agent or even management and so everything we do comes straight out of our own pockets. Unfortunately, our pockets have been a little more bare lately. Everyone who donates will be officially supporting the dream!
So please help us put out or FIRST and DEBUT EP as a band-- and so we can take ourselves and this new material on the road!
Sincerely,
American Standard
(Brandon Clark, Paul Hedges, Paul Lynch, Chris Zeigler)
*You will not be charged unless our target of $1,500 is met. If we have not met the goal by the Dec 1, 2009 at 12:00 PM, no one will be charged and our EP will not be released.

American Standard formed in January of 2009 when four friends came together and Brandon Clark kissed his solo singer/songwriter career goodbye.
Previously called 'Brandon Clark & The B-Sides' -- American Standard is a band straight out of Altanta, Georgia bent on combining insightful lyrics with passion, original melodies, soulful vocals, and high energy.
The band got together originally to play Brandon's previously released music, but it wasn't long before everyone in the band realized that they wanted something more. Their sound was evolving and new material started to take form. It wasn't just about one man and a band anymore -- it was about doing something bigger. That's when American Standard was formed.
