We've launched an exciting new project of our own! Introducing the Kickstarter app for iPhone!

A Strong Start!

Update #1 · Jun 2, 2012 · 1 comment

Thank you for such a strong start.  We're just over 1/4 of the way through our campaign and have raised $4,600+!  At this pace we'll meet our goal and have some have extra to provide increased training and technological support to our Ecuadorian partners.  With increased fundraising, we'll be able to consider additional media outlets in neighboring villages!

Reports from Tawasap indicate that villagers are hopeful and excited to begin filming.  In addition to moving forward with "Kantza" they're eager to document and preserve the traditional knowledge, ritual and art that is currently held by their elders.

So please, spread the word, share the project and stay connected.

Wanted to share some music from the village. It includes vocals and guitar from Tzama, one of the visionaries behind Kantza and a leading figure in the Shuar community. Enjoy!
