Welcome to my Kickstarter campaign!

Thank you all for your incredible support of me and my music over the past few years.  So many of you have asked when I plan to release my next recording. (It's been three years since my debut album, Chanteuse.) Well  I feel like now is the time to strike and I'm happy to say that I'm FINALLY ready to launch my sophomore effort. I’ve got a superb collection of songs and I'm eager to get them into your hands - but to do so, I need your help.

The days of record labels putting up money for artists to make their albums is all but a dim light in the past. We independent artists are out there all alone, yet we are all in this together. In a way, to me this is a very exciting time to be a performing musician. We have the capabilities and the possibilities to pave new roads for music production and distribution that have never existed before. But it remains that recordings are expensive - and booking studio time, paying musicians, mixing/mastering, packaging, and promotion still requires huge amounts of money for independent artists like me.

After crunching numbers, I decided that $30,000 is what I need to make this record a reality. The money pays for a top-notch producer that can take my songs, my voice, and my sound - finally presenting me to the world with a quality I've not been able to experience in my career thus far. This sum pays for recording, mixing, mastering, and replication. And most importantly, it pays for an ace publicist to get the word out, get reviews, and generate buzz about the CD.

 
This is an open invitation to join in this project and
help me reach the goal of raising $30,000 in 40 days

I’ve created some amazing incentives to thank you for giving to this project; from free downloads to limited edition posters to handmade gifts by me - even a private concert for you and your friends. There are also opportunities for you to be creatively involved in the album, including being able to PERFORM on the album!

If the goal of $30,000 is surpassed, there will be more incentives for you. And I get to do more things - like support a tour to help make this album a success!
The unique thing about Kickstarter is that after you make your pledge, your credit card will only be charged when we reach our target goal of $30,000, ensuring that you'll only be contributing toward a project that will actually happen. It also means that if we fall short of the goal I won’t receive any of the contributions. So it's all…or nothing! Rather scary, but I have faith that we can do it!
