WE DID IT!!
Because of YOU, I will now be able to release my album, Keep It Simple!
Hi friends! And thank you for making my Kickstarter Campaign, Keep It Simple: A Brand New Album - A Brand New Pop Sound, a success! If you haven't already, I hope you take a second to enjoy the video up above and to take a good look at the UH-MAZING rewards I'm offering to you lovely backers to the right! If you haven't looked yet…go ahead - I'll wait right here…
With your help, I am now able to take the album that's been 15 years coming, market it, promote it, get it into the radio waves, onto the television, into people's ears and out into the world! I now have the means and the capability to launch what is indeed my best record yet, one that puts a whole new spin on pop music.
With the $10,000 we have successfully raised (WHOOHOO!) I am now able to do all of the following things:
- Finish recording my album, Keep It Simple (KIS) at Studio Studios in my beautiful home town, San Diego
- Get KIS Mastered and ready for radio, reproduction, resale and release
- Get ahold of an AMAZING Album Photographer
- Reproduce KIS Compact Disc form
- Reproduce KIS to Vinyl form (A definite Collector's Item!)
- Create digital availability on iTunes and CDBaby
- Lock down a fantastic Graphic Designer/Creative director for all artwork on the album, posters, promotional material, business cards and merchandise as well as the new Allegrasings.com website!
- Reproduce all paper/promotional goods
- Print and produce all merchandise (hoodies, tanks, keychains, stickers, koozies for your brewzies) for the album!
ANYTHING more raised and pledged from now until October 5th will go directly toward the US TOUR and the Music Video...YES!!
If you've already pledged, or if you're thinking about backing my project, I'd love for you to check out a gig or two (or three or four!) and see in person what making music really means to me!

The money you pledge is not actually extracted from your funds until my Kickstarter campaign for Keep It Simple is a success...so in other words, October 5th, 2011 at 4:45pm. A pledge to my project is actually a promise to pay come October (and not an actual payment).

After calculating out the amount it is going to take to create, distribute, promote and release this album, Keep It Simple, we came up with the minimum amount of $9,000. And Kickstarter has to make their money some way, and that way is by claiming 5% of my total amount raised. Also, Amazon (your credit card payment site) takes 5% as well. SO, by asking for $10,000 I am satisfying their fees as well as obtaining the ground level amount that it will take to get my album...off the ground :)

Keep It Simple will be an 11 song album, all originals, all with full band. And so far...they sound DYNAMITE!

From Cruise Ships to Songwriting Competitions, Weddings to Private Parties, Major venues to Cover Shows at Dive Bars, Allegra's husslin', playing 10-15 live shows a month, bucking up and bearing it all for crowd after crowd of vast demographics. She's making her way to the top in the music biz one set of open ears at a time. And she likes to make Youtube videos, too :)
