In just 30 days, you made all this happen:
- 1 new bonus Artifice comic.

Over the next months I'll be sending you updates on my progress in putting the book and other rewards together and getting the book ready to print. I'll also be sending out Kickstarter surveys to you as rewards get ready to ship, so I can be sure I have your most current mailing address. For shipping the book out, that survey won't be sent out until October but for some other rewards (like the special $450+ limited edition print), I'll likely be reaching out much sooner to get what I need to get those out to you. More soon. :)
First, though, there is one more bonus goal reward I'd like to fulfill—the backer-exclusive Artifice Q&A video. So please be sure to get all your questions in by April 15th using this link:

There's lots more to say. (And even more for me to do.) But I'm going to sign off for tonight and get myself a little, long-overdue sleep.
But let me tell you: when I launched this project, I had my doubts that I'd ever be able to raise the initial $7,000 I asked for to print Artifice. And you've all simply blown me away with your generosity. I promise to do my best to live up to the high expectations your generosity has set.

P.S. Some of you have asked about the other bonus comic that I could have afforded to make if we had hit $40,000. This "romantic flashback scene" between Jeff and Deacon is indeed something I'd still like to make. And I will. It might take a little longer, but I will find a way. So please don't worry about that. No matter how you slice it, this Kickstarter campaign was an amazing, stunning success. And I couldn't be more happy or grateful. :D

I question the wisdom of blowing $36,551 on marketing (printing costs will be only a fraction of that) instead of paying yourself a salary and doing another comic full-time. After all, the success of this funding drive means you have already achieved comic stardom, so what do you need marketing for??? Please reconsider.

No thank you for sharing your talent for us to see and we're glad to back up your drive who knows we may back up a sequel someday. But for right now I'm enjoying the webcomic and your latest one as well. God bless you from is fans :)
