A note to backers: I emailed Alex on 8/14 to ask about updates and he told me the shirts were coming "in a few weeks." Alex, it's been a month-plus, so let us know what's going on. Right now we are definitely not flashy.

Yep, Cedric, totally machine washable / dryable. Though I personally think handwashing shirts makes them last a lot longer:)

Stupid question maybe but How do you clean them ?
Idea: put it on white and tie-dye. White silkscreen on white T-shirts tie-dyed looks pretty good. Retro reflective white on white T-shirts tie-dyed will look EPIC.
Very nice. Please start looking at international distributors soon. Buying stuff from overseas can be a pain with regards to customs and taxes.

what does the back of the houndstooth shirt look like at the $75 level? is it just the same as the front?

@danpernik the $75 reward level has designs on the front and back, as well as the houndstooth and unicorn hoodies have both front and back reflectivity.
@LuQ M - Cotton, no animal products, environmentally friendly, with labor done by us-- two totally sustainable grad students:)
For bike safety, shouldn't these designs be on the back? That said, awesome idea with tons of potential!
Is the reflective material environmentally-friendly? Does it contain animal products (carmine, wool, lanolin, etc.)? Is it produced using fair labor practices? What about the other materials you plan to use (i.e., main material of shirts/skirts/etc)?
