Just catching up post-show and wanted to take a second to share some of the experiences from the show.

First off, in addition to our sold-out audience, we also got some great reviews:

"Clements’s absorbing meditation on verbal communication in all its forms was endearingly presented as a class on the "perfect conversation." ...Under Director Rosalie Purvis, Clements skillfully shepherded her performance from monologue to revealing audience participation, drawing out ticket holders on sledding in Boston, dissecting frogs, and biking to work. Her disarming and intriguing questions on spur-of-the-moment participants’ favorite things and the things they most regret gave the show an intimate, free-flowing feel which also encompassed the dark side of words as "small acts of violence". Her reflections on the flaws of conversation as a medium of reparations are particularly poignant. Premiering the show at the Philly Fringe was a great experience. The audience's were great and we loved staying in the city.

I'd like to thank the team that helped me put the show together: Rosalie Purvis (director), Norberto Briceno (production manager), and Chelsea Sanz (stage manager and tech assistant).

And of course I need to thank all those who helped develop the show, who volunteered their time during the process, and our many Kicksarter backers. We couldn't have done it without you!

We're already talking about plans for touring the show, so look forward to more news on that soon!

Just got home from rehearsal a few minutes ago to find that not only is it less 40 minutes to go before this Kickstarter campaign will close, but also that a new backer joined the fray, putting us more than $100 over the goal.

I can't thank you all enough! Having your support and interest in the project makes it all the more exciting to build the piece, knowing that there's already a conversation building around the work.
