I want to create a book about Mobile Photography. I love mobile photography. It has changed my life. Has changed yours?

I love mobile photography. It has changed my life seriously. It is my creative outlet and it brings me joy everyday. I know I am not the only one that feels this way and even if you don't feel this way you might be curious about why it has taken off the way it has.

I want to create a book about mobile photography. I am very curious about this subject and, since I am a mobile photographer, I also have my own perspective (and pictures) I want to share.

My hope is to gather funds from Kickstarter to do research, design the book, and publish the book.

I want to interview many different mobile photographers from all over the world. I have access to them through the many wonderful people I have met on Instagram. I want a wide variety of people. I would also like to interview some app developers.

When I create the book I want it to be inspirational, informative, and nice on the eyes. There be will lots of mobile phone images, some infographics, a few illustrations, and interesting fonts.

  • How do I pledge?

  • Why 6K?

    This is to cover my time doing interviews, researching, writing, designing the book and mostly the cost to produce the book. I want book to be beautiful, one that you would keep forever or pass on. I also want to print this book on the best eco-friendly resources I can find.

  • What makes me quailified to create this book.

    I have worked in the photography industry for many years(as an studio manager, then as an art buyer and as a producer), I have taken over 4000 images on my iphone, I have co-created an iPhone app, Mom Maps so I know a little something about the app developer world. I believe art can heal people and bring joy. I want to share what I think is the one of the most accessible beautiful art forms today - mobile photography. My true loves have always been art, psychology and sociology. I believe the mobile photography community brings all of these together in a special way that can connect us to each other in a universal language of imagery.

  • If I make a pledge, when is my card charged?
    If the project you’re backing is successfully funded, your card will be charged when the project reaches its funding deadline. If the project does not reach its funding goal, your card is never charged. That's why we call them pledges.
