About this project
From the people who brought you Tree People...
Beer People is a documentary film that aims to discover what makes Michigan a unique environment that allows craft beer and the culture surrounding it flourish. Through this film I will also explore the reason for the continued popularity of mass produced beer when a superior local product is readily available. In order to make this happen I will be travelling across the state to speak with various representatives of the beer community such as homebrewers, brewery owners, farmers, and distributors.
By contributing to this project you will be providing my crew with money to pay for gas and hotels as we travel back and forth across the state along with any other smaller production costs i.e. festival passes, batteries, etc.
A great deal of progress has already been made on the project but it has been difficult for me to travel far from southeast Michigan without funding.
If you know of any potential contacts for this project don't hesitate to drop me a line!
