We did it!
And when I say "we" I really do mean we. Every last one of you are not only a financial backing, but inspiration to continue doing what I love to do. Thank you for all the kind comments, words of wisdom, support and excitement. As of now, all of you have been a part of the most successful playing card project on Kickstarter project to date. In just nine short days we went from nothing, to over $20,000.
However, we aren't stopping there.
As many of you know, there are awesome upgrades to the deck that I want to implement. Most importantly, metallic inks would make these cards stand out even more. Also, we can achieve Bee Casino Grade stock as well, which allows your decks to last longer and handle better. Yeah, Aristocrat + Magic is a powerful combination, but no matter how you look at it, the Casino Grade Bee stock is superior in every way.
The next goal, though, is $25,000. When we reach this number, we will not only put 100% of the profit back into funding our next deck, but also create a sleek, professional website that implements some groundbreaking features we've concocted.

Personally, I like the Aristocrat stock better. If you want another "reach for the stars" goal, get the cards done as a "face-down" cut instead of face-up. Face-down, or traditional, cutting makes the deck shuffle better when face down (particularly faro shuffles) because of how the cutting blade enters the sheet: from the front of the card to the back, creating a beveled edge that's better for card control. USPC stopped using traditional cuts for most decks in the '80s because they found a more efficient way to make decks with a face-up cut. Nearly all casinos insist on a traditional cut for the custom Bees used on their own card tables because of the improved handling. The only standard production brand they make today with this type of cut is a regional brand called Tally-Ho (the preferred deck of most card flourishers), if you want to compare the difference, and it's also on the Bicycle Pro Poker Peek and Bicycle WSOP paper decks.
