Update #2: Concert down, editing underway!
We got gorgeous footage and great audio from the concert /DVD shoot on January 28th, and editing has already begun.
Click on the video to hear Aaron's update on the project, watch a slideshow of images from the performance...and hear some rough mixes of the songs themselves.
And then expect to hear from us next week as we begin to reach out re: fulfilling the "rewards" we owe to each of you. Thank you again for being a backer!
Update #1: The DVD is a go!
We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our fans. With seven days to go, we met our goal of $7,000. The fund-raising campaign continues through Sunday, January 15th. After that, it's go-time for the DVD shoot: the band members and video crew will fly into Seattle and we'll prep for the concert on January 28th!
We'll be posting updates here on our progress (video and blogs from rehearsals) in the days leading up to the concert.

The Seattle-based Aaron English Band plays epic, world-beat-influenced art rock à la Peter Gabriel and Led Zeppelin.
Blending high-energy rock, pulsing electronics, and instrumentation from five continents, the band has released two albums and completed three tours of the U.S.
Their cult hit "The Lullaby of Loneliness" was name-checked last year in an episode of the Fox TV drama 'Bones'. Also in 2010, Aaron English had a U.S. Top 20 hit on the FMQB radio charts with the single "Believe". The song peaked at #18.
The band has earned many accolades, including being a finalist in Atlantic Records’ Soul City Music Quest, a semi-finalist in the Coca-Cola/American Music Awards New Artist Competition, and 'Album of the Year' finalist in the Just Plain Folks Music Awards.
Now the band has solidified its reputation with the success of the new single “Norwegian Wood/Kashmir”, a reinvention of the Beatles and Led Zeppelin classics that has been a staple of the band's live set for years. The band's official video for this medley is a hit on YouTube, racking up 23,000 views as of December 2011.
A U.S. tour is in development for 2012.
