GPS mad bomber real life video game :)
And I Went - a real time real life video game. Using your mobile and your the GPS built into your phone , bombing your friends will never be more entertaining.
There is a mockup located at : http://www.andiwent.com , if you click there you'll see it's pretty much a mobile site designed for the game. Each of those buttons gives you some good understanding of what the game rules are and basically how it will work.
You'll notice that everyone that pledges receives an invite before the general population.
In a nutshell you can place various types of bombs with your phone on busy streets, malls, stores, etc with the hope of bombing your friends. They in turn will be trying to bomb you. Each type of bomb has differing blast radius and properties.
You can also be armed with various bomb detectors each with differing properties.
If you detect that bomb, the bomb maker owes you points, if you get blown up, you owe him (or her) points.
The finished product will be of course 10,000 times better than my weekend concept that I have up there.
Since HTML5 allows for GPS access on Smartphone's (Android and iPhone) we will launch with a web based app first, if it becomes popular than of course we will get a full fledged iPhone and Android App.

Yes, both Android and iPhone will be connected to the same system as well as any other modern internet connected device that supports HTML5. If this project becomes popular the specific apps built for each device will be able to talk to each other as well.

It's on the drawing board, but let's get it fully built first. Eventually we would like to be able to create an API and let anyone create apps to build on the platform.
