the Abundantly KICKSTARTER

Hi guys, Arsena Schroeder here! I am overly excited and eager for this new chapter in my life---sharing my craft as a singer-songwriter. Over the last few years, I have been singing, writing, performing, and gradually developing my craft as an artist and am now raising funds to record my first ever EP. Years ago, I wrote a song that incorporated a quote by Brennan Manning that says, "A life of integrity is born of fidelity to a dream". I have made the decision to be faithful to my dream, but need your help in order to do so. I have been praying that by sowing into my dream, you will reap a harvest like never before in your own dream! Join hands with me! Let's live life abundantly!

the PASSION

May 11, 2009, I made a personal decision to pursue an intimate relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Shortly after, my suppressed desire to sing began to resurface, and I'd spend countless hours dancing and singing to and with God. I never experienced anything as satisfying and knew something great was in store concerning music. Although I felt a sense of purpose, pursuing this passion was not easy and at times I lost hope.  

Not long ago, I began studying Adam and his oneness with God in the Garden of Eden. God gave Him the task of managing the garden and naming all the animals. This may seem like a difficult task, but Adam didn't see it that way. He saw it as an opportunity to work hand-and-hand with God. I can imagine all the things Adam learned about the earth and about God's creativity. Even more importantly, Adam got to see that he was one-of-a kind; there was no one else like him. Because of this understanding. God was able to bless him with a beautiful gift, Eve. I believe the songs God has given me are beautiful gifts.

The passion behind this EP is very much like Adam in the Garden of Eden. Following our passions can sometimes feel like a daunting task similar to Adam naming the animals. This EP requires the same God-dependence and a commitment to a dream that will affect my community and hopefully all of humanity. Join hands with me!

the SONGS

The four songs selected for the Abundantly EP are a compilation of original songs that have been written and modified over the past three years. Most of which have been performed acoustically:

the VISION

The vision for this EP is that it ignites the dreams and passions God placed in the heart of the listener. I see it being a dream stirrer, but need your help in order to reach the listener!

why an EP?

An EP is one of the primary ways artists book gigs and music engagements. It's a lot less expensive than recording a full-length album and showcases what you're able to do. The Abundantly EP would allow me to book gigs that would in turn help me to reach our community and achieve the vision! After the completion of the EP, as an independent artist, I can book more gigs and work towards producing a full-length album!

how YOU can help!

Recording and promoting a good quality EP can be costly. You can help by sowing a seed towards the $7,000 goal. With your help, I know this goal is attainable and can be easily exceeded. I have compiled a list of "rewards" for your contributions and hope you find them as interesting as it was for me to make them!

the COST 

The cost to produce and distribute a good quality EP includes the cost of:

-A Producer
-Musicians
-Sound engineer
-Recording Studio
-Mixing of the songs
-Mastering of the songs
-Artwork and Design
-CD Packaging
-Advertisement, distribution, and PR

the KICKER

Packaging, printing, and mastering is expensive. An artist could easily package their album for the same amount it took to record it. If I make my Kickstarter goal, you will be charged for your total donation after the completion of the kickstarter. However, if I do not reach the goal, you will not be charged and I will not receive any of the funds donated to this campaign. If I make above my goal, I will be able to potentially record more songs, work with a publicist for the promotion of the EP, and/or book an EP tour! Even if you are unable to donate at this time, please help support this dream of mine by spreading the word to your friends and family. Anything and everything helps!
