Hey, you're not a miniature selling and shipping business, you're a game developer! I understand that this stuff isn't your strong suit, not should it be. When y'all get rich and start working on Warlord 2, a community coordinator / PR person may be a good addition!
Hey Kevin, and everyone else who hasn't received the rewards yet. I apologize for the delay, it has been too long since we've communicated through kickstarter about the status of the rewards. I'm personally taking the rest of the rewards to the post office tomorrow and shipping them out. I'm in the middle of double checking all the shipments right now.
We've gotten over problems of them coming to us, problems of mixed up packages, missing addresses, and packaging everything. Now it's a matter of getting it into your hands.
I apologize and hopefully things in the future will go much smoother.

Took longer than expected to sort out the rewards. We ordered several hundred miniatures on top of the books and getting them signed. Everything should be boxed up, packaged comfortably and ready to roll out on Friday! So get your glue ready.

I was going to go ahead and donate $15, but I don't have an amazon account and it appears they don't use paypal anyway. Oh well. Good luck with the project and congrats on getting over $6000! Very nice. I hope to see a very well made RTS from you guys in the future. =]
All warlord figures are made of metals. If you go to the offical website, you can use the Army Builder program to make up a 1000 pt army. The number of figures depends on what you choose, ranging from less than 10 to more than 70. The average is around 25 as I recall. I don't believe there is any exclusive figures.
How much would I have to donate to get only the following?
1. Free games forever (and the game when it's released, of course).
2. 9 warlords minis from the game.
3. The 1000 point army.
I don't really feel comfortable with the voicing of a character and $500 is a little out of my price range. If the 9 warlords aren't exclusives then I can pass on those. Same with the 1000 point army if they're plastic. I'm not even sure how many minis would make up a 1000 point army.

The reason we haven't had much of an update is because of a change in priorities. We were trying to create a teaser trailer for Gen Con, but we are now thinking that it might be too early for that. Our efforts are better if focused in other places.
I can say that we have a solid team coming together and I'm excited about everyone's work as we move forward. Hopefully we make our Goal!

Yes our goal budget is $5,000. This would help us keep an artist on our project full time. Allowing them to eat, and maybe even pay rent.

So you are trying to make a 3D game with a $5,000 budget? Have you considered making a 2D game? When you say you have no artists...you mean no modelers? Or no animators? Or no concept artists? Or none of the above?
In the video you said your game is based off a tabletop game called Warlord, do you have licensed rights to make a game from the owners of that IP?
I will talk to my game group and let them know about this (in case they haven't already read the forum topic). I do have someone that owes me $500 (completely unrelated) and so as soon as that shows up (sometime after the 4th) then that gets thrown into this pledge as well. But, I wanted to wait until I actually had money in hand (for obvious reasons!!!!).
Alas, I just had to buy the wife a new car or else I could have easily gone over the $2,000 pledge. I guess I'll have to stick with $750. I sorry. :*(
If we can find a loyal artist then maybe.
The problem is that every artist we get to help us has to eat. So we are always a second priority for paid work. Unless we find a robot artist we may never find a truly dedicated artists.
Hopefully we get a surge of supporters as we head into the last month. We need to get the word out so if you have friends that want to beta test the game, get them to pledge!
Is there any way to move forward with this project if you don't get all of the necessary $5,000? I would love to say I would fund the whole thing, but I just don't have that kind of cash. :*(
