First off, thank you.
Writing, recording and touring this last year has all lead to this moment. We are terribly excited about our first record and can't wait to get it to you, but we want to do it right. The final steps are two we've only dreamt of until now: mastering the songs and pressing it all to magnificent lovely glorious 12" vinyl (+ digital downloads) !!
The BOY GIRL PARTY LP has been a bedroom pop operation all the way. For this last bit we're dreaming beyond our bedrooms to, perhaps, yours; where you may be reading this now. We now look to you: a friend, a fan, family and perfect strangers alike, to help us offset a portion of the costs for this record.
Here's the breakdown:
Nashville's own Independent Mastering: $500 (shhh, we'd've paid em like twice that and swept up the place if they asked)
500 LPs by Nashville's own United Record Pressing: $1900 (♻ Materials promotional deal)
Digital Download codes/hosting: $255
That comes out to $2655. The kickstarter goal is $1995 (Nick's favorite year).
