30k and counting...
we set out to raise $13,000 in 90 days in order to fund our new record and then offer it as a free download. not only did we raise the full 13k in less than a week, we have more than doubled that amount. we are absolutely blown away by the kindness and generosity of our supporters and most of all the grace of God.
several people have asked if we will be offering certain donation gifts after the fundraiser ends, like the special edition version of the album and the vinyl. the answer is yes and no. thanks to the unbelievable amount of funds raised, we'll be able to offer a special edition version of the album in perpetuity, but we intend to honor our promise of making the edition given to donors exclusive and specific. everyone who donated to receive a special edition will receive a version of the album that will not be offered anywhere else. a "special edition" will continue to be available for purchase, but it will not be as expansive as the version awarded to donors.
the vinyl on the other hand will be printed in one small run once and once only. the donors set to receive a copy will get theirs and the leftovers will be sold and that will be that.
after the fundraiser ends we'll be able to answer more questions like "where does the extra money go?" and "when will we get our gifts?"
