About this project
We will record our first CD in Nashville with a very talented producer. Following, we will tour the country in hopes of meeting all those who made it possible!
The band is tracking for four days at the House of David recording studio (where Elvis recorded!) and finishing up at the Car Port, both of which are great spots that will give us the sound we are looking for! We have shopped far and wide from London, to L.A., to the upper east coast trying to find the best fit of producer and studio and we have finally found our guy!
The trip will last about two weeks and carries a big financial load, but we know all the research and time we put into finding the right setting and team will pay off. There are so many great opportunities waiting on us to finish the album that we all are working around the clock to make it happen.
Time is of the essence, so we are currently requesting project funding for the portion of recording costs we cannot obtain through gigs or a bank. If we get the funding to make this EP, we will use that money to record the best album we can and share it with the world!

ShowBaby has an honest and hard working approach to the creation, performance and distribution of rock soul music. ShowBaby consists of artistic, industry and business professionals that aim to maximize business innovation and creative integrity. The music is created, grown and refined with great diligence and care.
The group has a short but explosive history. In 9 months, this Rock trio from South Dakota has quickly gained popularity in every market they have played. Powerful Rock/Soul vocals combined with a wall of sound and catchy, meaningful songwriting have made the band very easy to relate to.
The second concert the band performed was sharing the stage with national touring artists Chevelle and Halestorm. Within 3 months of creation, ShowBaby was playing live acoustic sessions on an "Active Rock" radio station. It was only 3 months later that the band’s demo was in heavy rotation (upon listener request) on the same station.
Since then, the band has built markets in 5 states, toured to Austin, TX to play 3 showcases during the prestigious South By Southwest world music conference, recorded a music video, secured a producer in Nashville, an attorney, and a manager in London. In 9 months, ShowBaby has written the music and developed a business plan to take them all the way to the top. The band will be in the studio recording their debut EP in July 2010 and plan to kick off a nationwide college radio campaign in September. With your help, this band could become one of the few to truly succeed in the music industry without a record label.
