Update #38: TILT Huge in Europe...Sort Of
We're proud to see that our friend, social media consultant Wolfgang Gumpelmaier, has referenced our successful TILT kickstarter campaign once again in his presentation on "Crowdfunding for Independent Filmmakers." His most recent presentation took place in Berlin on August 13th.
Even though it was over a year ago that we met our $15k goal, we still remember clearly the hours upon hours we spent watching the clock, tweeting, emailing, and facebooking 'thank yous' to supporters, and creating TILTtheTown bios. We couldn't have made with movie without you, and we can't wait to show it to you. When? Soon...so soon...
Thanks again for all of your support. If you want a little refresher about what crowdfunding is all about, check out Wolfgang's presentation on SlideShare.net.
And if YOU have used TILT in a presentation, let us know so we can give you a shout out, too!
(Below: Phil & Jess biting nails, watching numbers, refreshing, refreshing, refreshing...)

Update #24: We Did It!
Thanks to all of you, we hit our 15K mark today with two days to spare! Thank you so much for your generous contributions, for spreading the word, and for your constant encouragement. We are so excited to get started with filming in September, but there will be a lot of fun things happening before then, including a new contest that starts on Monday.
Just because we've hit our mark doesn't mean that our work is over, not by a long shot. We will be entering new residents into TILTtheTown throughout August, and tomorrow you can expect a re-enacted scene from "It's a Wonderful Life" as requested by backer Tim Toner.
Thank you. Thank you. And thank you again.
