Today is a VERY SPECIAL DAY that I will never forget! With 5 days still to go, we've reached our minimum goal of $5,000!! I'm blown away by my pledges and support. Thank you, pledgers! And thank you, Kickstarter! Our project is now Kickstarter's FEATURED AND RECOMMENDED AND HOMEPAGE! OMG! (Cue bottle popping)

Just nine days ago, I was exhausted and knocked down when we reached the end of my first campaign without meeting our goal. For a moment, I couldn't imagine getting back up again. But if you know me, you know I never give up!!! And now...SUCCESS!!

Some might expect me to sit back and relax now that our minimum goal has been met, but that's not me!! We have 5 days left and I'm fired up and more motivated than ever because of YOU!!! Raising $5000 is a dream come true, but it's only about a quarter of what it's going to take to finish an album, produce a music video and get my songs out there.

Please continue to help me spread the word. To show my appreciation and unrelenting dedication, I pledge that every time we reach another $1,000 above our goal, I will make another crazy new THANK YOU VIDEO- i'll go out into the city, freak out tourists, make strangers dance and grumpy people smile. A $5,000 campaign towards JUST my Billboard/Radio promotion. This money will allow remixes by the best club DJ's, A printed version of an EP (A cd with 1 song and all its remixes), a mailing to all Top 100 Radio Stations, and hopefully result in placement on BILLBOARDS TOP 100 DANCE CHARTS 2010!

WHO IS OFFICIAL HANK?

I’m a singer, dancer, actor and gymnast from Norwood, Mass. I graduated from the Oklahoma City University Musical Theater program, and moved to New York City to pursue my dream of being an entertainer. After performing and touring in several musicals, acting in small roles for commercials and shows like Ugly Betty, my solo music career began less than a year ago with the support and flair of the brilliant Heather Holley, New York based multi-platinum songwriter and producer. Heather specializes in artist development and is best known for launching the career of Grammy Winner Christina Aguilera. What a blessing to have her as a producer, co-writer, mentor and friend. Recently, Heather and I worked on our latest song 'Right Now' with fellow OCU alumni producer/writer Jay Wadley. Jay works with Rufus Wainwright and makes music for film and tv shows like “Lie to Me.” He’s incredibly talented and I’m blessed that he’s on board to work on more songs for my album.
Paired with professional producers and the most incredible studio ever, James Walsh’s Threshold Productions in Times Square, NYC, I’ve been hard at work on my debut album, but now I need your help. We have a plan and a great team in place, now we just need YOU!!

WHY SHOULD YOU HELP ME
Without any support from a record label or manager, and while slaving away at my day jobs, I’ve been able to accomplish quite a lot, if I may say so myself! Imagine what I can do with your help and support in funding my album and launching my songs!

-My song “Feel Good” was featured in a Microsoft Launch “Flash Mob” commercial filmed at NYC's The Lincoln Center and Seattle's Westlake Park.

-On my first solo tour over the summer, my dancers and I opened for club sensation AMBER at Pittsburgh Pride and got a huge crowd of Boston Pride Fans dancing and sweating.

-Feature article about me on the cover of Pittsburgh Pride Magazing.

-I’ve performed shows at NYC venues like The Bitter End, Via Della Pace, Bartini, and numerous appearances at The Ritz Lounge…and I have Upcoming shows at NYC famous venue: The Box.

-I wrote and recorded a song with fashion designer Richie Rich that debuted during his 2010 Fashion Week Show which Ellen Degenerous walked in!

-Launched and hosted a buzzed-about event called “Speakeasy at Chat Noir” Celebrity guest were in attendance, Thanks Ben Afleck!

-Brought Brett Lord, a silk aerialist, on board to make my live show really special and unique!

-Performed at a Charity Event held by VeeV (Acai Spirit) which raised $3,000 toward The Trevor Project. The Trevor Project is the leading national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.
