No Bills is Closing! We're Celebrating at UnionDocs
Dear Supporters of No Bills,
You are invited to join the North Brooklyn Public Art Coalition (nbART) and UnionDocs for a special event to mark the conclusion of Nick Yulman’s No Bills: Stories of North Brooklyn. As a valued supporter, we hope you can join us as nbART’s guest to celebrate the success of this sound installation, which will feature select media from the project, followed by discussion with the artist and project participants. A special thanks to UnionDocs for hosting!!! Learn more at www.uniondocs.org/no-bills.
NO BILLS AT UNIONDOCS
Sunday, October 16 at 7:30pm
322 Union Avenue, Brooklyn
From July through September No Bills was installed at sites throughout Williamsburg, including the McCarren Park Pool and Triangle Court (a few blocks away from UnionDocs). Each site presented audio oral histories about North Brooklyn through listening stations situated in construction fences and on the street, and created serendipitous encounters for passersby, inviting them to engage with neighborhood’s history while standing at the sites of its developing future. THANK YOU for your generosity - you helped make this project happen.
