New Site Announced! And August 31st Event Details.
Dear Supporters,
nbART is pleased to announce that No Bills: Stories of North Brooklyn will be expanded this September to a new site in Williamsburg: 50 Kent Avenue. The site, currently a rarely-used lot, is the future site of a waterfront park for the Williamsburg community. We’d like to thank you, our backers, and the Open Space Alliance for supporting this expansion.
This Kickstarter Campaign only has 48 hours to left before time’s up! And we need your help in getting the word out. Please forward on this project to your friends and networks – every little bit helps us in reaching our goal of $2,000. We want to thank you for helping us achieve that goal.
Finally, please join nbART on Wednesday, August 31st at IndieScreen for yet another announcement: the unveiling of Plan Ahead, an artwork by Magda Sayeg (aka Knitta Please). This piece, a knitted structure under the Williamsburg Bridge, will be just blocks away from the new No Bills site and we’re getting together to celebrate!
