About this project
Greetings,
As many of you know, I am an independent graphic artist. I am not funded by any political interest group from the left or the right nor am I blindly endorsing the administration. Rather, as a self-employed individual, I teeter just out of financial reach of an insurance provider and have a personal investment in deciphering the FACTS of this reform bill from the misinformation being propagated by various outlets. At the end of the day my agenda is that all American citizens have access to the best health care regardless of their income level.
Rebecca Berdel and I work together as www.mocro.tv - the motion graphics division of Creative Rescue Organization. We love working on projects we are passionate about and go beyond a mere advertisement of a product. We want to use our skills and talent to help communicate and expand conscious ideas. This becomes very difficult in a down economy. It is difficult enough to find paying freelance work. Needless-to-say we have not been asked to do this project. I personally want to do this because I see and hear so many rumors and misinformation regarding the bill. I would like to create a resource that is graphical, autonomous, informative and based in fact.
This is a template for the series of videos we are developing to EDUCATE the public about Health Care Reform. It will be available for public, private and viral use. Currently seeking investors to hire voice over talent, an audio track, and a consultant that can help translate the details of the forth-coming bill into concise visual information.
We are asking to raise 5k to get started on this project by the time Congress is back in session in September. Ultimately, we will need a bit more to complete the series. As we produce more we are hoping to garner additional support to continue. Our goal is to explain the minutiae of the forth-coming Health Care Reform bill for ourselves and for YOU.

Mr. CRO is a Chicago-based artist and designer who creates social & political satire. My work is simply about visually documenting and recording pop, social and political issues of my time. I embrace the hand of the artist and technology. In my work, I comment on the American dream and the subsequent gap between it and reality. My work addresses racial identity, pop culture, politics and at times alludes to underlying social behaviors historical and current which continue to shape American society. I’m trying to engage in social and political discourse in a humorous way. Often times these themes are combined into work reflecting heros and/or villains of our society. Like a vessel, I constantly receive stimuli from the environment which becomes part of my work. I present the viewer with a mirror reflection of the world. My social commentary weds graphic form with brazen content. The result is at times stark and brash and at others photographic and honest.
