About this project
Over seven million people, on any given year and in the United States alone, suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (P.T.S.D.). Many millions more around the world suffer from PTSD.
We want to raise at least $18,000 to produce a short documentary (if we are able to raise more we will shoot a feature-length documentary). The name of the documentary is Invisible Wounds.
If we raise the $18,000, we will use the money to fund the entire production, including interviews with PTSD sufferers, their families, experts, and support groups. In order to do so we will have to travel around the United States (or even some other parts of the world) to find the most compelling stories.
We will also need the money to edit our footage into a coherent story that will touch the hearts of the audience and we need to pay for score, editing, etc. Finally and if there is any money left, we will launch a modest marketing campaign of the featurette.
