Update #10: A Fred & Earl Update

Posted on August 31, 2010

Hi everyone,

First, I want to apologize for not updating you guys earlier.
A lot has changed in the last 2 months since I updated you last.
I got a new and exciting day job, and moved into a new apartment.
I recently got things unpacked and I'm happy to report that episode #3 of Fred and Earl preproduction is ramping up.

Because the 3rd episode is so long ( close to 7 mins ) I'm thinking about breaking it up into 3 parts.
for those of you that haven't read the script yet please view it here:
http://www.scribd.com/full/32795771...

I would love to hear your thoughts on where I should cut the script to make the 3 part episode work. Leave your comments below :)

thanks so much for all your support and i'm gearing and ready to get back on the animation track.

How about having the first break after they leave the club, and the next when Earl takes a walk?

Update #8: Fred & Earl Production Update

Posted on June 25, 2010

Hey Everyone,

I'm currently knee deep in animation. Things are rolling along quite nicely.
Just to give you a sense of all the layers that go into a single shot, below is a nice screen grab of Earl during production.

Again, thanks so very much for all your support.

Enjoy!

Awesome! I'm really excited for you, from one animator to another, best of luck with the next part of your project, as god knows it will be the painstaking part! ;) I love the concept behind Fred and Earl. Kudos and best wishes!

Hi Lee, every since I first saw your project at kickstart 2 weeks ago I have been thinking about how much I wanted to donate to it. When I finally logged back on to donate I found out it was the last day and that you still needed more pledges. When I placed my small donation I was really hoping many others would do the same.
I am so pleased I could have a small part in helping your project kickstart. I am really impressed by your talent and perseverance. Much aloha!
