I still have nothing. This is getting old.
Creator Mance on May 29
If I haven't received the three hardcopy books I pledged for yet, should I assume it's because the decals have not been finalized?
Thanks.
Creator Nik May on May 26
Still no book yet. Keeping fingers crossed for soon! :)
Creator Joshua A.C. Newman on May 16
Kairam, no one has t shirts yet. Not even me.
Creator Kairam Ahmed Hamdan on May 16
No t-shirt yet.
Please help!
Creator Mike DiBella on May 15
Still nothing. I can live without the decals
Creator David Rapp on May 14
I'm in IL and no e-mail and no book. Have left a pm for Joshua Newman, have posted in the updated section - no response. Posting here with fingers crossed. Waiting to play the game for a while now!
Creator NaasterChief on May 13
Anyone in CA get their book yet?
Creator Andrew Robertson on May 2
I too have received my copies here in the UK! I'm really impressed, great work!
Creator Patrick OShea on May 2
Books arrived just before my birthday, and they look great!
On an unrelated note, I'm off to the LEGO store on Saturday ;-)
Creator Michael Fong on April 30
Awesome just got my book in the mail . . . great work! :-)
Creator Joshua A.C. Newman on April 27
Oh, hey! Kickstarter fixed a thing!
Mike, I'm waiting on decals. You'll get an announcement when they're flying off!
Creator Joshua A.C. Newman on April 27
Brett, you can always download from here: http://mobileframezero.com/mfz/thanks/
Paul, I have pledged to myself not to work on it until I have MFØ:Rapid Attack stomping off on its own.
Mike, please pm me. It's faster for me to look up individual weirdnesses from a pm.
Creator Mike DiBella on April 27
I still havent received an email or my book. Can you please give me an update?
Creator Paul Baldowski on April 26
Joshua - Firstly, I got my physical copy of the game in the post, and it looks great. Thanks to everyone for all their hard work in pulling this together. On a 'next step' note (or did I miss something note), when can we expect to see the $50K stretch goal RPG - "The first way to thank you is that, because we reached $50,000(!!!), I am now pledged to write and design the Mobile Frame Zero roleplaying game."? - Paul
Creator Brett Rabatin on April 25
Have the PDF versions been sent out yet?
Creator Christopher Lewis on April 25
Hi there
Just wanted to let you know that my book came through (mainland UK) - not had chance to go though it yet, got to get kids to bed first .....
Creator russell on April 25

that sort of stuff
Creator Joshua A.C. Newman on April 24
Hey, Russell, I actually want to put together a quick reference PDF download. What do you wish was on there?
Creator russell on April 24
Just got my books, they look great . kinda wish you had a few more quick "charts" but wasnt to hard to make them up. overall i like it.
Creator Francisco Soares on April 23
Just got mine, looks very good. Can't wait to show this to the rest of my gaming group.
Creator Joshua A.C. Newman on April 19
Thanks, Hunter! I hope you do!
And thanks Ed. Massachusetts is, after all, where the first shots were fired in the Revolutionary War. Now, I just hope we figure out why they did it.
Creator Hunter on April 19
Just got my book today, my table top guys just about ran me over to get a look at it. Looks like we'll have fun. Thanks a ton.
Creator edchuk on April 19
Got my copy yesterday, looks great. Now I gotta save up for a poopload of Legos to get playing. Great job Mr. Newman and a heartfelt shoutout to the wicked awesome people of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. No amount of cowardice will ever bring you down. I should know, born and raised there myself. Go Boston!
Creator Joshua A.C. Newman on April 19
You know, my big concern about *ever* doing a "Thanks" section is that I inevitably forget someone very important.
Creator Greg on April 19
Got my copy. Looks very nice. Unless I'm missing it though, no shout out to Kickstarter backers in the "Thanks" section? I'll live of course, just surprised.
Creator Brian Fay on April 17
Just received also. Great looking product really happy that this was my first KS backing!
Creator Ross Thompson on April 17
Just got mine today, and I have to say, that is a nice looking book. And thicker than I was expecting, too. Thank you.
Creator Cynical Felidae on April 16
I'm content to wait. It's a good product and I know you're trying as hard as you can to get it done. That, and the amount of info you've been willing to share on this project's trials and tribulations, leaves me more than comfortable to wait until its all sorted out. Doing good so far, guys.
Creator Dustin Clark on April 16
So if we did not get a Make That Thing email, does that mean our book is not shipping?
Creator David Ray on April 16
Good to know, thanks for the quick update Josh.
Creator Joshua A.C. Newman on April 16
David, both decals and T shirts are still unfinished. When your stuff is shipping, you'll get a notice!
Even within the categories that are shipping, though, not everyone's stuff has shipped. This takes time and human handling.
Creator David Ray on April 16
No email from makethatthing in inbox or spam.... :( Are these emails going out in batches?
Creator LowestFormOfWit on April 16
Going to say I'm certain these are the books. I haven't backed any other projects to date other than this one, so I'm going to go with, "it's our books" instead of "it could be our books".
Creator Ross Thompson on April 15
I also got a makethatthing email, and I'm also expecting a handful of KS projects to ship some time. So, I'm guessing it's actually this one.
Creator Patrick McAlpine on April 15
I've also received a makethatthing email, and seeing as this is one of the few projects I expect to be shipping soon, associated with everyone else, it looks as though we're getting our books.
Creator Mark Clark Jr on April 15
Magentawolf I'm in the same boat, with a mystery "Make That Thing" email, but in the last day I've gotten emails from a few different kickstarter campaigns that sound like they might be shipping soon.
Creator Magentawolf on April 15
Is this being shipped through 'Make That Thing'? I just got a shipping e-mail from them, and I'm really trying to figure out what they're sending, since it didn't specify.
Creator Jeremy Stomberg on April 9
What is the latest update on shipping books?
Creator Talarius on April 3
The only thing I'm worried about is whether you're actually turning a profit on this. It sounds like shipping is going to really cut into that. I am looking forward to receiving my books & decals, but I can be patient; ESPECIALLY as we already have our PDF copies.
By comparison, Steve Jackson Games is progressing at nearly a glacial pace to produce their humungo-deluxe Ogre boardgame. Far, FAR slower than MF0, but they're putting attention to detail on that project just like you, so again, I have no issue with waiting.
It'll make both games all the sweeter.
Creator Joshua A.C. Newman on April 2
Hey, no worries, man. Everyone's happy now. There have been literally three people who have asked for refunds and I happily gave it to them. They helped anyway and I'm grateful. By contrasts, there have been hundreds of supportive emails, PMs, and public postings.
Thank you so much for the support you, yourself have provided. I really appreciate it.
Creator LowestFormOfWit on April 2
I haven't posted a comment yet, but I feel I should as I'm still a very active member on the Mobile Frame Hangar and Flickr page, under the handle LowestFormOfWit.
Let me just say that I adore this project, and I can completely understand the kind of hurdles you have to tackle getting a product to market, especially one to be shipped worldwide.
What I cannot understand, is the level of anger polluting these comments. I went into this full well knowing that a crowd-funded project is going to take a serious amount of time. I really don't know why everyone has these commercial-grade expectations of a product such as this.
I'm excited to get my book in the mail when the time comes, but I've been enjoying the PDF and being a part of the drafts it has gone through over on the forums. I've been building frames, sharing ideas and posting pictures for almost a year now. Three full companies later, with a fourth in the works, I'm still enjoying myself.
The $20.00 dollars I spent getting this wonderful gem off the ground opened me up to this great little community. My money has been worth it already. It's been a great creative outlet and fun to do, and I haven't even had the honor of playing a game yet!
To Josh, I say thank you, and sorry that the project hasn't gone as smoothly as hoped.
To everyone else, I say please be mindful of the amount of work and time a project like this takes for a handful of people to accomplish, especially since none of the hurdles experienced have prevented anyone from enjoying the actual game we've backed.
Thank you.
Creator Joshua A.C. Newman on March 28
No problem!
Creator Pele Kophoros on March 28
Thanks for the swift response on the refund Joshua, I appreciate it. Best of luck working it all out.
Creator Joshua A.C. Newman on March 28
kc2dpt, no worries. Pele's got his money back, along with my thanks for helping get MFØ to market. Obviously, I'd rather get everyone their stuff and I'm doing what I can to make that happen, but I can appreciate that the amount of waiting is annoying.
Creator Pele Kophoros on March 28
The physical copy we paid for.
Creator kc2dpt on March 26
The PDF is available for download, so there's nothing keeping anyone from playing the game right now. Are you really asking for this guy to go into thousands of dollars of debt just so you can have a physical copy of the book a bit sooner? Cause that's all you're complaining about: a physical copy of information you already have digitally.
Creator magicafiend on March 26
I would rather just pay another $5 and get my books shipped already, this is getting really tedious waiting for decals and t shirts and other stuff I didn't pay for.
Creator Ken Fisher on March 26
I have to agree with Mr. Heismann. We are just shy of a full year since funding and I have only received vague promises that a book is on its way. I know that the content is available for download, but I did not pay for a download. Now I find out that a project I spent money to fund and help bring out to the public is available for general release at PAX East, and that the money from the sale of those copies is to be used to fund the shipping of my copy? I'm sorry, but I but find this unacceptable.
Creator Chris Heismann on March 26
Joshua, please take the following as it is intended - honest feedback without malicious intent: While the delays of this project are understandable, they have been extensive and lengthy enough, with a lack of clear communication that means I will be unlikely to back another of your projects again.
While I thought that your original delivery promises were overly optimistic when I pledged, I didn't think that delivery by Christmas or my son's birthday (Mar 14th) or even Easter would be a problem for you, and so I pledged to get it as a gift for my son. I do appreciate your not giving concrete dates that would be repeatedly missed & thus causing excuses (personal pet peeve of mine), but the lengthy delays lead me to believe we were a little misled about the actual level of completeness of the rules and book at the time of the KS project. While I still plan on giving it to my son, it will no longer wind up being as a gift for a special occasion. That has left a bitter taste.
While I hold no malice towards you for understandable delays, there are a ton of gaming projects out there, meaning that I have no time or money to spare for people with a poor track record.
