Connected as Jim Ether (413 friends)
Hello,
My name is Jim Ether and I'm a 36 year old artist currently living in Kent, Ohio.
I enjoy animating, creating music, painting and illustrating and putting them all together! If you would care to see what I've done in the past, there are links to my body of work below.
Thank you for reading about me. I hope you have a pleasant day.
Jim, maybe I missed it, but I have not received the survey. Please let me know what to do. I am truly excited about your project and anticipating greatness topped off with a bit of irreverence.
No, your options were pretty clear. I thought you had changed your mind when you told ShanonMc there would be students for anyone who would like one. If there is any room left I would love to pay up the difference and get a student. My two young daughters love your project and were disappointed when I told them I just bought the book. So if its possible let me know.
Hi David,
The $50, $60 and $75 pledges included a student portrait and an additional piece of the yearbook artwork and the book. There was also a $15 pledge for those who just wanted a student without the book.
When I had enough students to be able to fill the book up, I offered the option to buy the book on it's own. It looks like that was the option you chose.
I'm sorry if the options caused any confusion.
Did you mean that anyone who backed you at any level can have a student?
Hi Shannon,
Thank YOU. There will be students for anyone who would like one. This is going to be one happenin' school right here. How very exciting. Thank you again.
Love,
Jimmy
This is awesome! I am loving this! Hope there is a student left for me too. Thanks Jim.

Hi Martin,
Thank you very much for being part of this. There is absolutely a student for you. Students for everyone!
Love,
Jimmy.
Hi Jim. This is a very neat project. I am very excited now that I am an official backer. I'm hoping there is still a student left for me? Thanks.
Dearest Jason and Noah,
Those characters now belong to you. Thank you very much for being part of this.
Love,
Jimmy
Social Studies teacher still available for me?!?
Heya sir, very cool project! Would love to get Janitor #2 if he's still lurking in the shadowy realm of the unclaimed. Thanks!
I bet you teachers have some real horror stories about unruly kids. Holy smokes, how many other professions have to deal with that many youth on a daily basis? Club bouncers? The police? Convenience store owners? Oh the stories they could tell. That may be a fun future project..an illustrated book featuring amusing horror stories that happened on the job. Thanks for the idea, Ron.
I can see Cynthia's character has already earned herself a seat in the 'front row' of class. :-) Sounds like class disruption material to me. You teachers know what I'm talking about.
Thanks. You rock.
Dearest Meredith, Adrian, Digby, Cynthia and Jason...These characters are all yours. Thank you very very much.
A science teacher, if available!
I really really really want to be the blonde slutty chick who, you know, like, well, is really, like, smart, but prefers, you know, to be all cute and stupid sounding, you know. And everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, just LOVES me <3 <3 <3
(Gag, even I hate myself!)
I'm so glad I made it in time - I saw the project late last night and this morning it was fully funded!
Can I have the music teacher, please - if possible?
I also added another $20. Could I have a lunch-man in addition to a student, please?
I just added $20 to my initial pledge...I want a student AND an Art Teacher, PLEASE!!! THANKS!!!
PS. You are awesome!
The shop teacher...is yours. Thank you, Ron.
Ron J. - shop teacher please. 7//20 pledge
Cameron and Dana, consider it done! Thank you very much!
Hi- Great project- I would like PE teacher-
When I first read about this project I was thinking computer teacher, failing that I guess I could be the math teacher
Ok, MATH TEACHER PLEASE
Absolutely, Chris. It's done! Thank you.
I'm thinking it would totally be fun to paint myself the way I "thought" I looked in high school. Dumbo with buck teeth and covered in acne. Holy smokes, that wasn't a fun time.
I'll take a faculty member spot as well if I may.... Perhaps the science teacher?
I think it's a great idea to have yourself as one of the students as well!
Done!
I think I'll have my guy as a faculty member after all. History teacher or something
Done!
I would like to claim the janitor, please.
Hi Knoptop,
OOOH, you just gave me a good idea right there. The answer is yes, I would be overjoyed to sign your yearbook. I never thought to make MYSELF one of the students and sign other people's books as ME. Wow! Thank you. Ideas abounds today, ideas abounds.
This looks to be a cool project, I'm in! Can you sign my yearbook?
HOORAY! He's all yours, Paul. Wonderful wonderful!
Principal, please.
