About this project
Our plan is to create a traveling platform that gives artists and musicians a place to show there work. A place we can give a chance to the local artist and musician that was over looked by the galleries and venues. Also somewhere for the local community to come and see art and music in a comfortable atmosphere.
Every Stop will be backed by work created by Kwa and Isaac. We will photograph and film every event to share the experience online for those who could not attend and anyone that would like to take part in the future. Any sale of art at the show we will take 20% and donate it to one of the local non-profits in the area.
To make this all happen we plan on starting small and traveling around to the cities closest to us here in the northwest. For example: Portland, Seattle, Bellingham, and Eugene. We plan on networking with previous connections made in the local areas and also new connections made with local artists and musicians to find a place that can host this event. We will seek out people in the community that can provide food during the event in the form of a potluck. We want these evens to gather the community to share an experience and ideas with art, music, and food.
The money we are asking for is to help with an travel expense we will encounter while we travel around the Northwest area. Mostly for gas and any rental equipment we would need to transport any of our art. We will also be using the funds for any supplies we will need for hosting the events. We plan on securing the spaces we will be using for free but in the case we will need to pay any money for the space we will use the funds for that. Any money we raise above and beyond our goal we will use to expand how far we will travel with our show.
