Born and raised in The Bronx, New York. As an adult I lived in Richmond, Virginia, Washington, DC, Baltimore, Maryland, and The Bronx, NY. Now I live in Lancaster City, Pennsylvania.
I am a social worker with a passion for women and girl empowerment and grief and healing. I created the women and girls empowerment movement called (drum roll please) THE PRICELESS PROJECT! Also, I am a filmmaker and my documentary Mad Believer was selected in several film festival.

Ruby you have undertaken a wonderful project, you will run into snags but stay encouraged. Satan will always try to block anything good but stay focused and know that God is pleased and HE'S MORE THAN THE WORLD AGAINST YOU.
Jonathan I felt every word that you wrote and I pray that the book is the supplement you and your daughter needs to grow through life valleys. You and your daughter are in my prayers and I am so excited about you reading the book. Keep the "FAITH".
I am a divorced parent of my little angel. There is a very large distance between myself and her mother. Due to this divide I find myself playing not only the father and more importantly, the "dad", I am also having to be a "mom" as well. In this day and age with all the things my little one is exposed to, she can be pretty "run-down" with info overload. Being able to tell your little one that she must buck-up and accept some level of taking things on the chin is difficult, particularly when the one telling her that is having a rough "go" of it, and she can see that. I truly hope your book can help with my little one, as well as others in a similar situation. I wish you the best!
