Hello friends, Priceless Project Family, Twitter pals, and internet advocates!
I'm writing a book: a girl empowerment book filled with real life stories, inspiration, encouragement and the tools for teenage girls to overcome life challenges, and increase their self-worth. And the more people who reserve a copy, the more books we can give to urban charities, schools and community organizations and the better the book design will be.
The Priceless Project book will inspire, encourage and give young women and girls the confidence to reach their greatness.
WHAT WILL BE IN THE PRICELESS PROJECT BOOK?
The Priceless Project Book is full of encouragement to uplift the female priceless spirit. The book includes real-life stories, given hope, inspiration, and guidance to overcome life challenges and increase self-worth for young women and girls 12 to 19 years old. The Priceless Project book will include stories from women across the United States, sharing their childhood obstacles and how they grew through them. In addition, Shawn Kwadena Brown, CBN Sports Director, has written a letter to our Priceless readers, giving them the male perspective of what makes a young lady PRICELESS. I am so excited about THE PRICELESS PROJECT BOOK.

Now, the goal of this project is to put a book in your hands and a young women and girls hands in urban communities. And the cool thing about books is they inspire, and empower. So here's the opportunity: as more people reserve books, the more books we can donate to urban communities .
When we reach $2500, we will be able to donate 100 books and the book will be really nice: perfect-bound with a crisp color cover. If I can go beyond $2500, more books will be donated.
And if I reach 100 backers? We will be able to donate at least 100 books, and maybe do a free Priceless Project Book Tour throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York and wherever my car can reach.
The whole process is going to empower women and girls to know they are priceless, no matter what and we will have fun, too. Any amount of support gets you acknowledgement in the book, and I'm going to share progress, ideas, and questions as I go.
For the first 50 Backers I will email you the name of the book within 24 hours or less after the campaign ends on December 31st.
My deadline for finished and edited text is January 14th. The book will be designed 3 to 4 weeks after that, straight to the printer, then send it to you and set up the webpage to donate the books.

Yes, you will if receive a book if you make a pledge of at least 15.00. All books will be mailed February 2012 just in time to celebrate women's month.

In February I will create a book page where we will have a wall/book of people names of who donated a book, at that time emails and letters will be sent to organizations in Lancaster City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, NYC, Harrisburg, and York City to make them aware of the free books. Also, I will tweet about the page and post on Facebook for organizations outside of the above cities to become aware of The Priceless Project Free Books. Each organization/church/school will be able to click on a box with a donors name and request a book. We will answer all requests in 48 hours and post where your book was donated.
If you do not want your name posted I will use the name "anonymous sponsor"
