Hooray for the success of the 100 Self-Portraits project!!!
Congratulations everyone, and thank you so much for your enthusiasm and kind words. You guys are incredible and we appreciate everything you've done to support the project.
Now, finally, to collect the self-portraits! You have complete freedom with the self-portraits (that's the idea, right?) as long as they are taken of you and by you. Please send in a self-portrait that is:
7 inches x 7 inches maximum in size
300 DPI
CMYK color space (which is the best quality according to blurb)
We are also hoping to include a short caption with the photos if we can fit them in, so please send a caption no longer than 500 characters in length in this format:
Name (in Bold)
Title, Year
Medium, Size (optional)
A sentence about why this self-portrait exemplifies who you are.
I hope you're all excited to get started! We'll set the deadline for two weeks from today, does that sound alright? So by Friday, February 19 at Midnight Eastern Time, please send the photo in those specifications to 100SelfPortraits@gmail.com. Hope that works for everyone, thanks again guys! Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can help in any way with the process.

Second, what format do you want? JPG? And do the 2-page folks get to submit a 7x14" photo?

Hahah thanks for the enthusiasm!! Yes, the 2-page spread people can submit a photo 7x14" or smaller. They should be JPG's, 300DPI and in CMYK color profile. Hope that helps, thanks again!
Wonderful wonderful!!
I'm working with photoshop elements and I am unable to submit in cmyk format, only RGB mode available with my program....help Gaily!!! May I still submit the photo in the RGB format?
