It seems every city has it's own I ♥ institution; New York has I ♥ New York, L.A has I ♥ L.A and Ann Arbor even has I ♥ Ann Arbor t-shirts that you can pick up on Main St. It is about time Ypsi started it's own I ♥ institution but let's get a little more specific!
How great would it be to incorporate the people, places and things we love about Ypsi into the I ♥ institution: I ♥ something-specific-about-Ypsi. We thought it was a great idea so Mike designed the art and who better to start it off than James Mann (who knows who'll be next!).
James is a local, accomplished Ypsilanti historian. He has written and published several books and also writes for a few publications. You can almost always find him in the Ypsilanti historical archives or giving one of his guided haunted tours around town. If you read his work you'll be left curious about all the local history hidden in plain sight and if you happen to meet James it is inevitable that you will ♥ him.
So, grab your I ♥ James Mann t-shirt today! They are VG Kid printed on soft, comfy, gray colored Alternative Apparel t-shirts. All $ goes toward cost of printing. The campaign amount is the cost for a minimum order of 20. If you do not live locally please add $5 to your donation to cover shipping.
On a side note, James doesn't really know about this....Mike and I just really think he's cool and wouldn't it will be pretty awesome if he starts to randomly see people wearing I ♥ James Mann t-shirts around town......right?!
